Orthopedic Care With A Personal Touch
Joint arthritis is the wearing of the cartilage on the end of bones. Symptoms include pain, swelling, and deformity. There are non-operative treatment options that can improve your pain and function. These include medicines, joint injections, and bracing. If surgery is needed, our doctors perform proven, predictable joint replacement surgery of the shoulder, hip, and knee.
Shoulder
We can help you return to normal activities without shoulder pain or a high risk of further injuring yourself such as causing a deeper, permanent rotator-cuff tear by swimming. Rotator cuff damage can cause pain and weakness as well as limit your range of motion. Rotator cuffs should be treated or repaired as soon as possible to prevent tears from becoming untreatable due to the extent of the tear or if it is an old tear. Old tears can develop arthritis.
Hip
We offer hip replacement surgeries to get you back to moving around without pain or with reduced pain. Another benefit from changing the damaged or deteriorated joint with an implant is increased range of motion. Hip replacements may be needed if you have broken a hip or have osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis.
Knee
Knee injuries are very common in sports. Knee injuries can present with a range of symptoms from mild tenderness caused by inflammation to severe damage or tears in ligaments or cartilage. Our physicians can perform nonsurgical treatments, arthroscopy, and/or total knee replacements depending on the severity of the injury.
